PURPOSE

Eugenol is used as endodontic antiseptic and analgetic material. The material is used in combination with zincoxide (dough) for treating deep caries of teeth, in case of pulp pain and alveolitis, after tooth extraction, for filling canals and as provisional filling material.

FEATURES

The main component of the material is 3-methoxy-4-oxyallylbenzol, i.e. oily liquid with cloves flavour.

Eugenol liquid features analgetic, antiseptic and sedative effect.
